Program Enrollment

In addition to trainings that develop skills for evidence-based treatment of tobacco use disorder, supervisors also have the chance to engage with other key opportunities tailored to help them effectively promote and ensure effective implementation, such as support calls and webinars.

We also encourage the development of treatment of tobacco use disorder champions in your program or agency. Champions can be an administrator, program director, supervisor, prescribing clinician, direct care staff, or peer specialist who takes on the role of helping to facilitate the implementation of treatment, advocating for policies to address people who smoke and staff wellness, and developing a culture of enthusiasm for treatment of tobacco use disorder work. Champions can also oversee the workgroup, assume responsibility for implementing action steps toward treatment of tobacco use disorder, and monitor outcomes.
